We recently purchased, and are about to take delivery of a new IBM p series
computers, to replace our older RS6000.  Since I am still fumbling with
Linux, I asked IBM to quote transferring files, configuring our new
computer.  They supplied a quote, but in talking with the local IBM rep,
they will only install it (e.g., mount it to the rack and make sure it
works), and  they specifically note that they are not proficient in AIX.  If
someone is very proficient in AIX, and can get the machine configured in one
day, whether that day starts at 6AM or 6PM, or anything in between, I would
be interested in hearing from you.
