[KLUG Members] linux kde recovery help needed

I tried to look at .xsession-errors with a text editor, but found nothing in
it. I looked around in /var/logs/ but did not see anything that gave me a
clue as to what is wrong. (what to look for?)
.ICEauthority shows up nothing when opened with a text editor.
