[KLUG Members] Digital Cameras in linux

I've got a neat-o Sony DSC P50.  It's rather nice, and my last camera
(which broke and was replaced) was natively supported and when I plugged
it in, I could mount /dev/sda and get the info off it.

I'm wondering if other people have managed to get it working (I can see it
sensed, but when I try to mount it-- kablammo! My box freezes-- hardcore).

I'm still tinkering, but I'd rather ask you people first and save myself
hours of searching.
