>I was just wondering if anyone had the skinny on zope.

I've read about it, never used it. I would use it (or something like)
it if I were creating a new site, but converting existing content over
to a framework is a real grind.

There is nothing to stop you from writing oo php.

>Does PHP work with ZOPE or completly replace it?

ZOPE is not a programming language, it is an application platform and
content management system. ZOPE is written in python, I would imagine
that working with PHP is not one of it's goals.

>Is PHP better than ZOPE

PHP is a programming language, ZOPE is not. Python is a great
programming language with pile of XML goodies, PHP also has pile of XML
goodies. Six of one, a half dozen of the other.
