[KLUG Members] Question on SSH: That's right, more problems.

Okay: at the risk of looking as if I don't know what I'm doing..
I installed SSH, as you know.

One problem: When I log onto the server, it dumps an error (in the log),
first of all:

May 22 14:16:13 mail sshd[18159]: error: ioctl(TIOCSCTTY): Operation not
permitted
May 22 14:16:13 mail sshd[18159]: error: open /dev/tty failed - could not
set controlling tty: Device not configured

And I show up with a 'w' as follows:
adamb ttyp1 206.114.58.195 2:16pm 0.00s 0.17s 0.17s
/usr/local/sbin/sshd

If I 'control-c' in my terminal, I get kicked --- I'm canceling the 'sshd'
session I had.

Contrary to what I usually do, I've searched for several hours now for a
fix, and the best I get is a pithy statement, "SSH supports many types of
tty, see if SSH supports your type". I *know* it supports my type, but
what I need to know is how to fix this, unless it's a known bug, and I
have to install a different version. O'ell.
