I'm currently using a dual PII-300 system, but I got the motherboard on
e-bay and have no idea what the brand is. Works great though, and has
been for more than a year.

I purchased an Intel Nightshade dual-PII board in hopes of just replacing
the board as the one in the system only takes EDO (low capacity,
expensive) and the Nightshade takes ECC DIMMs (fast, reliable, and cheap)
not to mention the onboard eepro100 and dual channel SCSI.

However... this Nightshade board is CRAP CRAP CRAP. It fires up OK but
hates just about everything you plug into the PCI bus. I've tried future
domain, adaptec, and IBM controllers and it can't access a device
connected to any of them. Crazy, I've never seen anything like it. It
might just be my specific board, but I'd think twice about buying a
Nightshade (despite REALLY high ratings and reviews).
