>>Just about every DSL provider filters 25 & 80 (expect Direct TV DSL, who
>>explicitly state that they do not).
>We (iserv.net) do not filter any ports of our DSL customers connections.
>>The only way to get unfiltered DSL (since Direct TV DSL doesn't service
>>this area) is to get 'Business' service, not residential.
>Through us the "business" service just means you get a static IP
>address. A business service doesn't require any special business phone
>line, just a regular POTS line served by Ameritech.
>Sorry, 'bout the commercial. ;)

iBiz Premium DSL
Bandwidth (speed) Up to 768x128
Static IP addresses Up to 5
Activation fee $50
Installation fee $250
DSL Router cost $378
Monthly fee SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL RATE - $64.95
Seems reasonable, but a $678 up-n-running charge is pretty darn painful
for a SOHO
