We *do* use DHCP! The printer doesn't, but I use DHCP for .30-.254 and the
lower are statically allocated. The printer was 192.168.1.5, and then
something happened. Don't know what. And yes, I know you can statically
allocate an IP with DHCP. Maybe I will set it to do that so I'll at least
get errors in my server logs if the printer doesn't take the number.

I don't know *what* exactly happened, though.... the printer pinged at
192.168.1.5 just as it was supposed to all throughout, so unless it gave
itself TWO ip numbers.... It's unplugged now, and I'll beat on it later.
