[KLUG Members] Elections and volunteers

Greetings KLUG members mailing list!

It is getting close the the end of the year.  According to our bylaws, we must
hold elections for our officer positions.  Elections are held toward the end of
January.

As the current Chairperson, I would like to thank all of the contributing
members for thier involvment with the group over the last year.  The commitment
by our current group has been exceptional.  I'm sure that our group will thrive
for years to come.  

As some of you already know, I am not accepting nominations for the position of
Chair for next year.  This leads the question of what will happen to the
leadership of the group next year.  The answer to this comes from all of you.  I
am asking all members to examine their involvement with the local open source
community and make a commitment to yourself and to the group for the upcoming
year.

The following is the list of official positions to participate in our group. 
They are ALL availble with the coming of the new year.  The top four are the
elected positions and the remainder are appointed by the chairperson with
willing volunteers.  So look the list over and consider one (or more) of the
following.
