Sorry if this is obvious, but I haven't heard it mentioned. Anybody try replacing cables? I have occasionally seen strange results up to and including partial MAC addresses from a cable that's fading. If you've got one of those magic cable tester boxes, it might be worth running it around the place. If nothing else, you'll know you can trust your wiring map when you're done.
