Okay, it now works. I have *no* idea why, I even managed to ditch
/etc/sasldb2 in favor of PAM. I think I was tripping some subtle bug
with an incorrect config line, but I don't know, or maybe it was because
I just got rid of all the options but PAM. <shrug> I wish I knew for
sure.
Anyway, cyrus-imapd 2.1.9 is now up and working. I've replaced all my
~/Mail configs with
set folder=imap://localhost/
and it works good; it's hard to tell that mutt isn't working with local
mboxes. Mozilla 1.1 is a bit odd, I have some files:
INBOX.archive.cares
INBOX.archive.debian
INBOX.archive.boogies
that Mozilla can't subscribe: it returns a Mailbox not found error.
Now I need to investigate IMAP's filtering language to replicate
my .procmailrc.
