[KLUG Members] installing on a multiprocessor box

I have a friend that is getting ready to install RedHat on a
multiprocessor Compaq server.  He was asking if the install will pickup
that it is a multiprocessor box and install accordingly or if he will
have to do something special.  I was not sure about the answer but said
that if anyone would know that you all would.
