More of a reason to buy a new BSware! :-)

I _think_ (from the little research I did) that Gnome has a common
directory it reads to builds it's default menus. If an RPM drops the
appropriate config file into that directory, it shows up on the menu.

I wouldn't be surprised if KDE, and maybe other WM's, do something
similar.

The applications have to be friendly/aware of the WM's installed on
your system and add themselves to the menus.

> ... can you post a list of the packages BSWare provides (other than the stock RH).

Disclaimer: These applications do NOT get installed as part of the
standard Redhat install. These packages need to be installed manually
on a running system. The main highlights are:

Linux programs:
---------------
Acrobat Reader 5.05.
Netscape 7.0
Memtest86 3.0
XFCE 3.8.16
CFS

Win32 programs:
---------------
Acrobat Reader 4.0 (guess I should download a new version :)
Netscape 7.0
pscp & putty
gzip
pkzip clients
Postgresql ODBC driver.
VNC server/client. (hasn't been updated for awhile)

Plus some other obscure/old programs not worth mentioning.

The list is subject to change without notice, so your copy of
BSware may, or may not, include these or other programs.
