[KLUG Members] Encyclopedias on Linux?

Here's another "question that occurs to me as I go" situation.  Can any Windows
encyclopedia CDs be run in Linux?

The daughter has her own Linux RH 7.3 computer now, Open Office is up and
running, etc.  But now, she needs to look up some information.

Normally, she would grab an encyclopedia CD and use that, but, that was back in
Windoze.  We have a handful of these reference type cds.  Can any of them be
used?   Ideas?  Alternatives?
