A local X server.

Not native, see the os-discuss list :). Yet another enterprise feature
apple chose to remove from their platform. There target market is who
again?

But LDAP authentication works!

>I have a MAC user who wants to run our ERP software, which is a
>X-Windows application on our HP-UX server.

There are some free ones floating about that apparently are transparent to
the user. Never used one however. Just bumped into reference to them
while searching their nss/pam/nsc knock-off (netinfo).
