Depends.

If I was writing mission-critical code, especially something that was
for a public project and I was the P.E. signing my name up for
malpractice, hell yes! And I'd be charging $200/hour to boot.
But for personal usage, hell no. Even small businesses I wouldn't worry
too much.
But for major E-commerce, yeah, we're back to analness. Especially if
my business depends on it.

That's how I did my SmithDot.NET site. Took the LEAP stuff by Chris
Young and changed it a good amount to fit my needs/wants. Learned PHP
and moved on to new functions and features.
It still really needs some work, but I haven't had time to touch it.

It's not so much of "individual style" but rather "individual
need/wants."
