Novell's NIMS product (or whatever they call it now) is pretty slick and
runs on Linux while interfacing with NDS. I use Evolution to connect to
a GroupWise server via IMAP (with the GWIA...GroupWise Internet Agent).
Don't get me wrong...I'm a Novell fan (even GroupWise certified), but
I'm not convinced it's the best at what it does anymore. It's good,
that's for sure, but it has been surpassed. If you're mainly a NetWare
shop already, it's a natural addition if you need enterprise messaging
and central management through NDS. But Exchange has definitely caught
up and IMO surpassed GroupWise. Note: I am NOT an Exchange fan. :)

I'm very interested in the "iXtreme GroupWare with GroupWise / Exchange
/ Notes connectors" at this site, which seems to be some marriage of
Novell and Linux by a German company:

I just started downloading an iso image of what I hope is their
"Business Linux" to see what it's all about. Gotta wonder if it's going
to be another Corel or Sun Linux though...
