The answer for full featured mail is the same as before - Cyrus IMAP

For calendering (to clients, not of the web) you still need a commerical
package.  KLUG has booked presenters on several of these include SuSe's SLOX,
IBM's Lotus Notes and hopefully an half-day seminar on Oracle's offerings soon.

As a guess I'd recommend looking at SLOX,  which I'm told can be had for
something like $1,200 and offers an entire raft of features including role based
administration (sweet!).
