I would be very interested in a downloadable ISO of BSware. I live in Battle
Creek, but I am on disability, with no transportation, and have no means of
getting to a KLUG meeting to obtain a copy, and the cost, although admittedly
minimal, would still hurt, since my income (SSD) is also minimal :-). I am
currently running a multiple-boot system (P4, D845EBG2 mobo)(Bought comp
et-al with original lump-sum SSD payment last year.), with Win98SE and
Topologilinux (based on Slackware, resides on a msdos directory, boots from
CD) on one HD, and Debian on another. Only been running Linux for a couple of
months, so I'm still trying out distros (and having a bumpy ride on that ol'
learning curve, though I'm determined to teach myself basic Linux skills.
:-D). Both of my distros, I downloaded as an ISO image(s) (as I could afford
to buy or borrow blank CD-Rs'), so if there is no ISO forthcoming, I'll have
to pass on BSware, unfortunately. I could also use some help on configuring
the distros I have, (though I'm proud of myself, I finally got my hp deskjet
6122 to print, and in color, even :-D. Now for the onboard sound, and then my
Echo Layla 24/96 8-in, 8-out recording sound card [ I am a blues guitar
player, hate trusting my recordings to Windoze. Echo has the generic drivers
available, no clue as to how to compile them.] and my Nvidia card :-\ ), and
would love to bring my comp to an install meeting, but, again, no
transportation or money. (BCLUG? hate to think I'm the only linux-user in
B.C.:-) ). Anyway, thanks for your work and time, I've found the mailing
lists and the website archives a great resource in my quest to get a
fully-functional Linux O.S. up and running. BTW, sorry for the long post, I
usually don't do such long ones, just wanted you to get to know me a bit,
especially since I want to pick your brains all you'll let me :-).
