[KLUG Members] LDAP & PHP

So use ldap auth with apache, get the user name from the variable and search
the dir for that to get the rest of the info? Is this correct?

Also, the site uses AD for their ldap dir. it appears to me cn= the display
name for example:

First Name: Jeremy
Last Name: Leonard
Middle Initial: F.
Username: JeremyL
Full Name: Jeremy F. Leonard

Now the same user in Novell eDir. cn returns JeremyL AD seems to return
Jeremy F. Leonard. Has anyone used AD? How can I get it to search by the
username?
