We have goldmine. Goldmine 4.x could use an ODBC/BDE data source. THis
was yanked in Goldmine 5.x You can use local DBF files or an M$-SQL
server - your only two choices (at least, out-of-the-box)

It is a pretty comprehesive app, but they are definitely heading down an
M$-front-to-back road.
