I wish I could talk you out of it, because I would like to talk myself out of it. I have all my backup boxes, DNS, firewall and my primary DNS all on redhat 8 9 for my web hosting OP . My production firewall is Redhat ES.  I think SuSe with Novell is a winning combination for the future... It will take some time getting used to the differences in the interface and minor differences in the way things are installed... :-)
