Nfs hosting from OS X is going to depend on your OS X implementation to
a certain degree since it seems it's tightly wrapped around Netinfo. OS
X Server I think is a lot more straight forward via the server admin. OS
X 'client' is supported as well however. I think you may find the
following link helpful if you need to export from OS X 'client':

I was able to apply the above instructions and successfully mount my os
X nfs exports from a Linux computer without applying any "special" mount
parameters.

I must admit my Mac OS X experience is very limited other than I have a
location I deal with that is Mac OS based that I need to exchange data
to/from so I know just enough to accomplish my tasks.
