RedHat does have a partnership with Ximian, who is a member.  And, well, RedHat
doesn't need the DLC - they actually made monet recently, and they're in bed
with IBM.

Most interesting is the absence of the GNOME foundation and IBM.  

A huge collection of people without any money, are, well, a huge collection of
people without any money.  A brutal assesment perhaps,  but we will see what
comes of the DLC - I'll put my money on "squat".
