Hello everyone.

I'm currently attempting to set up a freeswan VPN here, and I'm running 
into a bit of trouble.  I've got my two hosts set up; one with a firewall, 
one without.  

The firewall machine responds with this: 
003 ERROR: "work-home" #1: sendto on eth0 to ip:500 failed in 
EVENT_RETRANSMIT. Errno 1: Operation not permitted

I've found someone with this exact error on google, but the response was: 
"This is an iptables error. Check your iptables."

Now that's not useful.  However, I did tweak my firewall somewhat to try 
to get things going.  However, no matter what I did, I couldn't get the 
error to go away, even if I flushed all iptable rules.  

Of course, I'm root.  I've checked google groups, but haven't found much.

So, I'm basically dead in the water, I suppose.  The one host that 
doesn't work was installed via RPM. The other was installed via source.
