Okay, I installed Redhat 8.0 (BSware) on the $199 Walmart PC yesterday.

The only issue I found is sound doesn't work.  Redhat said it found the
sound card chip and installed the drivers, but no sounds comes out.

I did notice that Lindows uses the ALSA sound drivers (instead of the
kernel OSS drivers).  Maybe that's why . . .

Of course you could install the ALSA drivers with Redhat, or pay a
couple bucks for a supported (and probably better) sound card.
