[KLUG Members] RH 8 - GUI Problem

Hi,

Having problem with RH 8 (Custom Install).

Using Gnome.
Its hanging when I open 2 or three GNOME terminals.
( Have tomcat 4.1.18 (latest stable version) running in background)

H/W details:

Compaq Pentium 4 , 1.4 Ghz  512 MB SDRAM
Intel 845  Motherboard ( Onboard graphics and sound, no separate cards)


S/W:

Dual Boot Windows 2000 Professional with RH 8
Using Grub as boot loader ( 512 MB -swap. had 256 MB SDRAM at time of linux
install)


What could be the problem?
If nothing works, thinking of switching back to 7.2
