Yesterday somebody asked for more info on today's
presentation by FBI.  I sent an e-mail to Alex
Nepogodiev.  He sent me the following e-mail: 

I don't think it will be very technical, because they
are targeting it towards business owners and CTO's.  

Here are the presenters:

Three Speakers will be covering this topic from
different angles: 

Larry Schattuck of Global Secure Data Exchange (GSDX)
will cover the history and status of InfraGard, an FBI
grass roots initiative focusing on strengthening the
defense of our nation's critical infrastructure by
building better communications between private
industry, local and federal law enforcement. In this
presentation he will also discuss how you can be a
part of this organization. 

* Latest trends from the FBI on cyber threats since
the terrorist events of September 11th. What has
changed. *What are the specific threats we need to be
aware of. * How the FBI's InfraGard initiative will
help combat cyber threats through information
exchange. * Intrusion Incidents. How they happen; How
to prevent, detect, and respond to them; How to report
incidents to the authorities. * What businesses need
to do to safeguard against cyber threats since
September 11th. 

FBI Special Agent Rick Smith from the Grand Rapids
Office topics are: 

* A brief intro to the National Infrastructure
Protection Center (NIPC). * FBI's Role in Computer

James Papesch of High Media TECHommunications is a
consultant to the public and private sector. He will
talk about some of the current and future compliance
mandates. Then he will talk about what you can do to
develop your strategic plan. What skill sets you need
to develop internally and/or to support your
customers. What your clients will require from you as
a security services provider.
