Maybe
http://wwws.sun.com/software/xml/developers/palm/index.html
which theoretically lets you sync with XML files.
or
http://sourceforge.net/projects/palm-ldap/
which theoretically lets you sync with a DSA
There is also
http://ldap-abook.sourceforge.net/ and
http://www.uslinux.net/software/pkginfo.php?pkg=pdb2ldif
which aren't specifically about syncing but might be useful.
It is to bad there isn't a generic backend/API for sync devices so that
attributes can just be mapped to sources.
Maybe http://www.coldsync.org/
