Hello, everyone. I've got a peculiar problem.

I have a program that uses ghostscript to change a ps file into pdf.
However, it seems that with the Helvetica font, it's 'forgetting' the
numbers 4,7, and 8, and the numbers F, H, K, V, X, Z. This works on one
server, using ghostscript 5.50, but this new server, using ghostscript
7.03 (both AFPL ghostscript) can't. I've done some googling, I've done
some other fiddling, and I can't get this stupid thing to be able to use
the Helvetica font to it's fullest extent. At this point, I've got people
calling me, and I don't know what to do.

Help me. I'm completely lost, and at this point, 1+1 does not make 2.
Everything points to 'yes', but the program says 'no'.
