Mandatory Access Control (MAC) systems are an important class of
kernel-level security framework. MAC implementations are rule-based
systems enforcing higher-level security guarantees than those provided
by standard operating system interfaces, while remaining compatible with
them. Matt's presentation will introduce the leading MAC implementations
available for Linux, focusing on the LIDS system by Huagang Xie, Sander
Klein, and others.
