You may need to install a C compiler. Look at the gcc*.rpm files 
on CD #1 (if using Red Hat or BSware) in RedHat/RPMS.

Once you're over this hurdle, you may also need to install other
libraries or hearder files to get the compile to run, but this
will give you a good running start.
