sure it's ummm.. "fun" to roll your own.... but it's so much nicer to just 
type 'apt-get update && apt-get upgrade'  on my debian unstable system :)

am i the only one that thinks it sounds funny to say "upgrading to 
unstable?"

and also, deb unstable seems awful stable to me but then again i'm not 
hitting that box hard....
