Ah I see.  I though dashboard sounded pretty cool, then I heard it was
written in C# (which I'm slowly learning) and got an overpowering urge
to see the source code (it talks to Evolution!).  I was able to load the
page, and suddenly I was only able to see slashdot!

I didn't know it was mentioned on slashot - slashdot is such a toilet
lately I never go there anymore.

Opengroupware also "finally" (had to wait an entire week!) released a
working package of ZideStore - that presents all your calendar, tasks,
contacts, etc... as a WedDav filesystem (iCalendar objects, etc...).  So
it has been a very exciting day.

WebDAV works via the GNOME VFS, Mono supports all kinds of WebDAV crap
easily,  there is examples of talking to Evo with Mono (dashboard). 
Wow!  This is all converging so fast, all of a sudden.  All I need is 48
hours in a day.
