[KLUG Members] RH (7.3) install - the rest of the story ... well maybe

Well, it installed ... sort of ... after 8 hours and five (5) minutes ;>))

It copied all packages and then for whatever reason the system froze.
Bull-pucky. No mouse movement, etc. Cntrl-Alt-Fx commands did no good, so
... I rebooted using CDROM #1, typed in the linux rescure command, and
voila, the installation was found! Using the shell that was provided, I
took a look through the various directories and, from what I could tell, it
looked OK on the surface.

But since the normal installation was not completed. the grub loader was not
installed, and thus on reboot I seem to be stuck in the cycle of either
issuing the "linux rescure" command and playing around with the shell it
provides after it has performed the action of /mnt/sysimage or having to go
through another install effort. For now, I will pass on the reinstall
effort (until I resolve whatever the problem may be with the "slooooo-moooo"
CDROM reading and writing). I'm wondering if there a way to install a grub
loader to see if it will boot the normal way, i.e., verify that the install
did come to a good completion per se? Again, there is no other disk or O.S.
involved. Oh well, will look into it later today as I've got a few other
things to do!

Any and all ideas welcomed. Thanks in advance.
