What's the difference between a flat file and a relational database? Why
is a relational database usually superior? Why should I design the
database -first- and the interface second? These and other questions
will be answered in this introductory explanation of relational
databases. Database newbie? This is for you. Ever had trouble keeping
your data synchronized, normalized, or un-anomalized? We'll cover that.
Not database specific nor an advanced topic, so we won't be promoting a
specific relational database program, just explaining why we need a
relational database and how to use it.
