Mark,
To my knowledge, you cannot ping www.hotmail.com from most places- It is not your network, but hotmail's that prevents u from pinging it. I can browse the site but when I try pinging, I get a request timed out. Interestingly, a tracert with the hotmail.com IP address times out just before it reaches the hotmail server. Does anybody else have any comments/explanations? I mean is there some kind of Ping Cop software available? I would love to hear what ol'e Bill is upto now ;)
