[KLUG Members] Eltron Label Printers?

Any worked with Eltron label printers?  These are the ones used by UPS
in their shipping workstations.  Specifically I have an LP2442PSA
(RevG).  These are made by Zebra Technologies, whose printers speak ZPL
(Zebra Programming Langauge).  But accoring to the docs this printer
speaks EPL (Eltron Programming Lnaguage).  I've tried sending ZPL
commands (as I currently have programs that control Zebras) but the
printer did not so much a wiggle the paper or print head.
