Yes, but not too intricately.  I have one on our Clippership manifest shipping computer and had to order a new one for our Florida location.  If I remember right, Eltron was recently bought out by Zebra and now the Zebra part numbers are stuck on them.  I couldn't find a new Eltron (I have the LP2442 as well), but ended up finding a cross-reference table somewhere of Zebra part numbers and models.

I didn't know that the LP2442 spoke Zebra, though.  Did you have to adjust a dip switch or something?
