[KLUG Members] have we ever considered running a forum?

What's online suffers from lack of usability and functionality.

Links to the archives are buried so deep in the site as to be terra incognito to most people. The forum itself is difficult to read (why is the forum
title on every single email title?). If there's a search mechanism for it, it too is buried. Until posts (and replies, to continue a thread) from the web
are allowed (maybe that's available too, but unknown) it isn't really a viable alternative.

Not trying to slam, just saying that the example shows a truly functional dual-channel method of handling a newsgroup while ours isn't. A closer
examination shows they got it from here: http://florian-amrhein.de/newsportal/

kind regards,

bill
