[KLUG Members] have we ever considered running a forum?

Absolutely! In fact people do it all the time. Considering those
people who send from more than one email address. They subscribe
multiple times, with only one address receiving email. That way they
can send from home/work/wherever and not have their email held for
approval.

Just subscribe, go to the "edit options" web interface for your new
email address, and select "Disable mail delivery".

It could be used for that too.

I'm not sure but I think so. I know you can specify URL strings when
querying google. That would be a question for our local google expert:
Ralph.

Please note that stock Mailman handles all of this. The one time I
mentioned modifying code, I said to do so and send _them_ your changes.
To be very clear: "them" == "Mailman"

The reason is I don't want to run a modified copy here. Mailman comes
out with new releases periodically, and it's really nice to just update
the RPM. (as opposed to updating the source here, and reapplying our
patches/updates). Especially when the next security hole is found in
Mailman, and we need to update quickly. (that's the selfish reason)
The open source reason is: so everyone can benefit from our changes.
