Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to replicate the transaction processing
capability on non main frame or main frame platform using linux. I mean is
there any product that can give features similar to CICS?
Thx,
Sanjay

COBOL applications should be pretty simple as just about every version
of COBOL is available for Linux; I've used both Ryan McFarlan (sp?) and
AcuCOBOL without any problems. I've talked to someone who used
Fujitsu's COBOL (can't remember extact name of the product).
Maybe http://www.conmicro.cx/hercules/ will help?
