I've never tried this, so I'm only speculating. 

In the admin pages, general options, for the mailing list, near the
bottom is the "host name" and "base URL".  It appears that if you change
those to the domain name of another domain, it may do what you want.

I don't think you should change anything in mm_cfg.py since that is a
global config file for all domains and all lists.  It is only the
defaults which should be modified on each individual list.
