I've installed CUPS on my home network so that laptop users just pickup
the printers from other machines. That works, they appear in the select
box in Open Office, etc..., without any further configuration. A user
can submit a job, but it never prints. There are no apparent error
messages in /var/log/cups/*

On estate1, the box to which the printer is attached -
[awilliam@estate1 awilliam]$ lpq -Php895ps
hp895ps is ready
no entries

On laptop01, which picks up the printer via browsing -
[root@laptop01 root]# lpq -Php895ps
hp895ps is ready
Rank Owner Job File(s) Total Size
active root 16 (stdin) 17408 bytes
active root 17 (stdin) 17408 bytes

Ok? Thats nice. Any idea why the jobs just sit there?
