GNOME 2.2 vs 2.0,  a bit improvement in speed & consistency.  This will
also make building "high-end" user tools like Mergeant much easier and
more stable.

New version of nautilus, again fast and MANY annoyances removed. 
Including the stupid switch from fixed to free form dialog box when
dragging-n-dropping files.  Grrrr, I hate that thing.

In-nautilus CD burning extension (drag-n-drop).

I believe CUPS is now the default printing system, vs. LPRng.  But I'm
not 100% certain, the beta seemed that way.  I love my LPRng, but I have
to give it up that the time has come for this change.

Lots off foo-foo-frilly stuff like cursor themes, etc...  supported
(Gack!).
