Technically, yes.  But if you have to ask, then pragmatically, no.  You
would need to do it almost immediately after the deletion to ensure any
degree of success or you might just bring back a mangled mess, and trash
your filesystem in the process.

There are ways to create trash can functionality, but which one is
appropriate depends upon what your environment looks like.
