WDI is proud to announce the First Annual BIE Open Challenge. The contest begins
on November 10, 2003 and ends February 9, 2003.
The participants in this contest will have three areas in which to compete for
cash prizes. The three areas are actions development, message formatters and
software specific connectors. The rules for each type of submission follow later.
The following cash prizes will be awarded to the competition participants who
make particularly valuable submissions:
* First Prize for Actions: $1,000
* First Prize for Message formatters: $1000
* First Prize for Specific Connectors: $1500
In addition to the first prizes up to ten additional honorable mention prizes of
$100 each may be awarded for great submissions by competitors that did not win
any of the first prizes. In all, as many 13 competitors have a chance to win a
total prize money of $4,500.
All prizes are in US dollars and will be paid to the winners after the winners
are announced.
