This article picks up several stories that are developing currently, it is
interesting to read, and it seems to talk about things from an oddly
Microsoft-centric (and PR-copy) point of view. I like being infomred that:
"Microsoft's .Net initiative provides a new foundation for software that 
 uses next-generation Internet services and other significant changes."

Which sounds like a phrase taken directly from an Microsoft PR playbook...

Somehow I get the sense that the writer knows what a Linux is, and might even 
have seen one at some point, but doesn't quite seem to follow what all of this 
has to do with some notions of what is really "mainstream"...
