I don't know of a comparison chart, but if you find one, I'd like to see it too. 

We're looking to do the same thing...upgrade the core. It's pretty hard to go
wrong with Cisco, but I've liked what I've seen from Extreme. Or as I call them,
the purple switch people. Worth looking at, IMO.
