I have never used kudzu but it sounds interesting.... You could also
do the poor mans ghost with g4u and an ftp server.  It looks pretty
cool.  

It would be interesting to see if Novell will integrate Red Carpet
into NDS and ZENworks.  ZENworks is a great software distribution and
desktop management environment on a large corporate network
envirionment!!  NDS is an awsome directory, although I have not run
it with Linux yet.  I need to fire that up sometime soon...
